Crunchyroll Is Now Available on the Nintendo Switch

Enjoy both anime and games on the go!

While the Nintendo Switch has been a great way for many players to enjoy their games both on the go and in the comfort of their homes, it is not exactly a prime entertainment machine. Not many streaming platforms are supported for Nintendo’s console, but for anime fans, the good news comes in the form of Crunchyroll finally arriving on the Switch.

Interested users can already start downloading the Crunchyroll app on the Nintendo Switch eShop, with premium subscriptions starting off at $7.99 per month.

As possibly the top anime streaming service out there, Crunchyroll will offer its vast library of content to users through different tiers. The first tier, which is free, will allow you to enjoy a selection of anime episodes that also come with ads. If ads are not your thing, you can try out Crunchyroll Premium, which drops the ads and provide full access to the service’s entire library. There are also other tiers like Fan, Mega Fan, and Ultimate Fan to consider as well.

If you are planning to enjoy Crunchyroll on the Switch, subbing at the Mega and Ultimate Fan tiers will allow you to download episodes to watch them offline. So now you can both game and enjoy anime on the go and at home, whichever makes you the happiest.
