How to Solve Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn Seasons Puzzle in God of War
This puzzle comes up when Atreus is reading a sand bowl as Kratos progresses with his plan to break through thick layers of ice and reach a giant chisel in Midgard. The sand bowl riddle will give you the order of a cycle for the four seasons.
The trick here is to reverse the order that Atreus tells you since the riddle mentions the cycle in “retrograde,” meaning it should be in reverse order. Throw the axe and flip the panels so that the order is autumn, summer, spring, then winter from right to left.
This means that the symbols should be a leaf, then a sun, then a flower, then a snowflake. This is how it should look:
Hit the button prompt on Atreus after putting things in the right order to solve the riddle. The platform will begin to repair itself and rise to the top of the room as time gets reversed.
You’re all done with the puzzle but be prepared for a fight as the platform rises. Kratos will need to defend Atreus while he continues to use the sand bowl. You’ll be taking out waves of enemies on a time limit and failure means that everything will fall apart again.
