Endwalker is the latest expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, and it serves as a conclusion to the long-running Garlemald story arc that’s been going on since the days of 1.0 and A Realm Reborn. There’s plenty of new MSQ content to get through here, along with tons of side content to check out once you’ve beaten the story as well. Here’s how to get the Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Map in FFXIV Endwalker.
How to Get the Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Map in FFXIV Endwalker
If you’re familiar with Aquapolis and treasure maps from past patches and expansions in Final Fantasy XIV, you’ll quickly get a hang of how to obtain Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Maps and how to use them in Endwalker. There are a couple of ways you can get them: either by farming them yourself (which requires you to have your Miner or Botanist classes at level 90) or by buying them off the marketboard.
If you have Gil to spare and you haven’t been keeping up with your gathering classes, head on to the marketboard to purchase them.
If you do have your Miner or Botanist at level 90, all you have to do is farm level 90 nodes (trees, rocks, or bushes) for a chance to get a Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Map to spawn. This is purely RNG-dependent, but the spawn rates for the Maps are actually fairly decent, so you should be able to hoard a few in just an hour of mining or harvesting.
Once you’ve gotten your hands on a Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Map, you can then use the Decipher action to unlock a treasure dungeon. The Decipher action itself is unlocked by completing the level 36 quest Treasures and Tribulations, which you can take on by talking to H’loohn in Eastern La Noscea, at X:21, Y:21 in Wineport.
Decipher the map, and you have a chance of unlocking the instanced dungeon The Excitatron 6000, which allows you to fight several mobs and open treasure chests for some new rewards. It’s recommended that you have a party with you before attempting it, or you can also use the Party Finder feature to join treasure parties.
That’s all you need to know about how to get Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Maps in FFXIV Endwalker. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
