Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie will once again be animated by MAPPA, with Sunghoo Park in charge of directing. Viz Media released the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 manga back in January, giving the following description of the story.

Yuta Okkotsu is a nervous high school student who is suffering from a serious problem—his childhood friend Rika has turned into a Curse and won’t leave him alone. Since Rika is no ordinary Curse, his plight is noticed by Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, a school where fledgling exorcists learn how to combat Curses.

Gojo convinces Yuta to enroll, but can he learn enough in time to confront the Curse that haunts him?

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie is set to open in Japan on Dec. 24, 2021. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the first season of the anime television show by the same name, as it recently finished its first season with episode 24 back in March of this year.
