While we haven’t had much of a glimpse of the upcoming TV show in action, we now have a freshly cut trailer showcasing the epic high fantasy world in all its magical glory. Go ahead and feast your eyes on the new video down below:

As you can see, the new footage is visually striking and boasts a world brimming with swords, sorcery and monsters. Accompanying the impressive visuals is a bombastic orchestral score that really nails that epic tone. Of course, fans of The Witcher and Game of Thrones may want to keep a close eye on this one.

Thankfully, if you’re looking forward to The Wheel of Time, you won’t have to wait too much longer now. Yes, a release date has been officially locked in, and the show is all set for a November 19 launch on Amazon Prime Video.

The series will be broken up into eight episodes and a second season has already been given the greenlight. Clearly, Amazon must be confident that the show will resonate well with fans of the source material and the fantasy genre as a whole.

Interestingly, the best-selling book series that the show is based on has sold over 90 million copies worldwide. Not too shabby, eh?
