Buying an Auto Shop in GTA Online
First off, head to the LS Car Meet, located in Cypres Flats and marked with a stylish ‘LS’ logo on your map. Once you arrive, head inside and speak to BB and Pau.
After doing this, you’ll then be able to buy an Auto Shop. To do this, head to the Maze Bank Foreclosures on your phone. You’ll then be able to buy an Auto Shop starting from GTA$1,670,000. You’ll also need to purchase the LS Car Meet Membership which costs GTA$50,000.

How to Get a GTA Online Auto Shop for Free
It’s actually possible to get the Strawberry Auto Shop for free by signing up to Twitch Prime and claiming the reward for free there.
Simply head over to this link, connect your Twitch Prime and GTA Online accounts, wait a couple days and you should be given the Strawberry Auto Shop for free.
Keep in mind that this isn’t live for long. You’ve only got about a week until this offer ends, so act fast.
What Auto Shops Do?
Once you’ve bought an Auto Shop in GTA Online, you can head to the upstairs of it to take on new missions similar to Heists. You’ll also earn income from owning an Auto Shop, but it’s unclear exactly how much at the time of writing.
Alongside a steady income, you’ll also have access to an ‘Exotic Exports List’ which tasks you with finding and stealing 10 cars across Los Santos. Steal them all and you’ll get a massive pay-off.
A modding bay is also included in your Auto Shop, allowing you to customize your personal vehicles. Friends can also use it, and you can invest in your Auto Shop to add another car lift, should you choose.
You’ll also get storage for 10 personal vehicles and a cozy little private quarters upstairs where you’ll find a bed, gun locker and wardrobe.
