Fortnite Adds Striking Red Ferrari 296 GTB as Driveable Vehicle

Earlier today on the Fortnite YouTube channel, a new trailer was dropped for the latest vehicle coming to the game, the Ferrari 296 GTB. If you want to try it out, then you won’t have to wait at all since the vehicle is being added to the game today.

Ferraris are known for being extremely expensive, stunning works of craftsmanship, and wickedly fast. And Fortnite’s version of the Ferrari 296 GTB appears to capture all of those aspects expertly. The car appears to handle fantastically and it looks like its ability to boost gives it absolutely ridiculous acceleration so you can quickly get out of a tight spot.

Although the Fortnite Ferrari looks good, this type of car isn’t exactly known for its off-road prowess. In the trailer we only see this vehicle tearing up a paved road. As impressive as it is, it’ll be interesting to see how it performs once it hits the much rougher terrain found throughout the map.

On top of the release of this new vehicle, there will also be other aspects of the game that focus on the Ferrari. For starters, the Epic Quest this week will focus on the vehicle with tasking players with completing Ferrari Time Trials, reaching maximum speed in a Ferrari, and driving a Ferrari through the Storm.

Finally, the item shop will have a few new Ferrari-branded items so you can complete the look.  the Modena Icon and Maranello Racer Outfits feature t-shirts with the stylized “Fe” part of the word Ferrari and a black baseball cap with a silver Ferrari logo. And the Ferrari Turbo Back Bling is a black backpack with red and gray accents and of course the Ferrari logo.
