How to Get the Shotgun in Resident Evil Village
Resident Evil Village’s Shotgun can be easy to miss, as it’s hidden in a house you could easily pass by if you aren’t careful.
After the first siege encounter you have with the Lycans, you’ll be able to enter several damaged houses in order to bunker down for the next wave. You’ll want to go to the house in the bottom right corner of the area. Though its door will be locked, you can enter it through a hole in the side of the lower section, across from a hill to its right.
We’ve included a screenshot of the house’s location down below. If you’re still early on in the game, it might help to know that you can access your own map by pressing down on the left side of the Touchpad.
Go into the house through this hole, then make your way to the ladder leading to the upper level. Climb up the ladder and continue on until you reach the top floor. Once you’re there, the Shotgun can be found on a table with a blue tablecloth.
How to Buy the Shotgun
If you’ve already passed this point in Resident Evil Village, then we have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is, you won’t be able to access this house again until a later point in the game, and can’t grab this free shotgun until then. The good news is, there’s still a way to get a shotgun in the interim.
After you meet the Duke for the first time, he’ll have a shotgun you can buy for 12,000 Lei. This is no small sum early on, but it’ll be worth the price if you’re in need of a boomstick.
