Valheim may only be in early access on Steam, but it’s already a huge hit and might just be the next big thing in gaming. Since Valheim is all about survival, you’ll need to be on the lookout for many helpful materials. One helpful material to have is silver because it can be crafted into many different weapons and armor. Here is what you need to know about where to find silver in Valheim.
Where to Find Silver in Valheim
You won’t be able to get silver right away. In fact, you’ll have to kill the boss Bonemass before you are able to find any of this ore.
Killing Bonemass will give you a wishbone. You’ll want to equip the wishbone because will alert you when there is silver ore nearby. You’ll want to head for a large mountain biome because that’s where this ore can be found.
Once you are in a large mountain biome area with the wishbone equipped, start roaming around the area. If there is any silver ore nearby, you’ll be alerted by a fast blinking of the wishbone. It’ll blink very quickly when you’re right on top of some.
You must use an iron pickaxe to dig and obtain the ore. To turn it into bars, take the ore to the smelter.
It can be used in a variety of crafting recipes, including a silver sword, arrows, wolf armor, drake helmet, and more.
