Persona 5 Strikers: How to Get Rid of Personas

Developed by Omega Force and Atlus, Persona 5 Strikers is a direct continuation Persona 5, and brings the Phantom Thieves back together for another case to solve in the Metaverse. This time around, players will enjoy Omega Force’s iconic musou-style combat instead of Persona’s turn-based RPG system, but there are still plenty of gameplay elements intact here. Here’s how to get rid of Personas in Persona 5 Strikers.

Getting Rid of Personas in Persona 5 Strikers

Unlike the rest of his teammates, Joker has the special ability to hold more than one Persona at any given time. However, even that ability has its limits. When your Persona stock is full, you won’t be able to absorb any new ones until you get rid of one that you already have.

To do this, simply bring up the menu with the + or Options button, select Persona, then select Joker. From here, you’ll see a list of Personas that Joker currently has. Select the one you want to get rid of, then press the + or Options button again to dismiss it, and confirm your selection.

This will free up one slot, allowing you to collect a new one in its place.

That being said, we generally don’t recommend getting rid of them this way as it’s usually better to just fuse them to create a stronger Persona that you can make use of in battle. To do this, you’ll need to head to the Velvet Room through a dungeon exit or checkpoint.

From there, select the Fusion option, then select the Personas that you want to fuse. If all goes well, you’ll get a brand new Persona with enhanced stats, levels, and abilities, and chances are good that it’ll be better than a variant that you randomly pick up in a Jail. This process is free as well, so we recommend visiting the Velvet Room to see if you can fuse anything stronger whenever you get the chance.

That’s all you need to know about how to get rid of Personas in Persona 5 Strikers. For more on the game, check out our wiki, or see more of our coverage below.
