You’ll first need to increase your Adventure Rank to AR40, then head over to Wanmin Restaurant at Liyue Harbor and purchase the recipe from Chef Mao.

After that, simply head to the cooking station in the restaurant (there’s also one in Mondstadt) or any fire pot in the open-world to start cooking.

The required ingredients for Triple-Layered Consomme are as follows:

  • Ham x2
  • Fowl x2
  • Bamboo Shoot x1
  • Mushroom x1

The ingredients are fairly easy to get; Fowl can be obtained through expeditions or killing birds, Bamboo Shoots are found in Liyue, and Mushrooms are fairly common across Teyvat.

The Ham is a processed ingredient that you can make yourself with Salt and Raw Meat, though you can also purchase it from the food shops in Mondstadt and Liyue.

Upon consumption, the Triple-Layered Consomme will increase your party’s shield strength by 20%, 25%, or 30%, depending on the quality of the dish. It’s especially useful if you already have characters that can provide your party with shields such as Noelle, Beidou, or Zhongli.

Just like all other dishes in the game, once you’ve cooked the dish perfectly a certain number of times (15, in this case), you’ll be able to start preparing it automatically without having to play the mini-game.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Triple-Layered Consomme in Genshin Impact. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
