Leveling Up Fast in Bravely Default 2

Like any good ol’ RPG, you’ll eventually thinking about trying to grind through battles to gain some experience for your characters in order to level them up. This can be a pretty time-consuming process, but there are a few things in Bravely Default 2 that can help to expedite the process, at least a little bit.

First, you’ll get an exp multiplier by battling multiple waves of enemies. Whenever you see enemy units close together in a dungeon or the overworld, hitting one of them can cause a chain reaction that pulls the other enemy unit into the battle. After defeating all enemy groups, you’ll get bonus experience from the fight, which should provide you with a significant amount of progress for the next level.

To speed up the process even more, you can also increase the battle speed up to four times to make battles go by faster. Of course, this is only recommended if you’re already familiar with the enemies in the area, as speeding up battles in new territory can be disastrous.

Finally, a quick way to level up is by using Experience Orbs, which are obtained by opening chests, completing side quests, or even slashing at the grass in the overworld. The best way to get them is by sending the boat out on expeditions, and you have a high chance of getting leveling items in return, such as Experience Orbs and JP Orbs.
