Developed by miHoYo, best known for releasing the popular mobile game Honkai Impact 3, Genshin Impact is their latest free-to-play gacha game that’s been gaining tons of popularity over the past couple of weeks. It features a large, expansive open world for you to explore, along with tons of deep combat systems and synergies to get into, and side quests to knock out. Here are the Secret Pirate Treasure map locations in Genshin Impact, in case you needed help finding those.
Genshin Impact Secret Pirate Treasure Map Locations
After completing all of the early story stuff in Genshin Impact, you’ll be required to raise your Adventure Rank a little to continue the story. You can do this by knocking out side quests, such as the Secret Pirate Treasure quest that you get from Kaeya at Mondstadt.
This quest requires you to decipher two different maps and go to the locations that they’re hinting at. The clues themselves can be a bit cryptic, so we’re here to help you out.
The first clue leads you to a location right in the middle of Mondstadt itself. We’ve included a screenshot of the map down below, and the location is indicated by the player marker.
You’re looking for a windmill in that location, and you’ll want to climb up to find a wooden chest that gives you a clue to the next location.
The second location is in the region just south of Mondstadt. To unlock the map, you’ll need to defeat the monster hanging around the Statue of the Seven, but once you’ve done so, head to the location as indicated in the screenshot down below.
You’ll be looking for a waterfall, and you want to climb all the way up to the top of the waterfall to find three pillars marked with snowflake symbols. Here, hit the pillars with an ice attack. You can do this with Kaeya, or with any other ice-based character you might’ve unlocked, like Chongyun.
Once you hit all three pillars with an ice attack, a chest will spawn, leading you to the treasure hideout. From here, just follow the marker on your map to the cave, clear the dungeon, and you’ll have completed the quest.
