The campaign in Marvel’s Avengers follows the story of Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) following the events of A-Day and the disbanding of the Avengers. With MODOK and AIM seemingly up to no good, Ms. Marvel gets to work on reassembling the Avengers to help fight evil. As you embark on missions across the world, you may be wondering how to change characters in Avengers Game. Well, here’s everything you need to know.
Changing Character in Avengers Game
To change character, go to the War Table on the Chimera and select the mission you want to begin.
Just before it starts, you’ll have the option to ‘Select Hero/ Companions’ next to the ‘Select Mission’ option. Choose the ‘Select Hero/ Companions’ option and you’ll see your roster of characters to choose from.
To change character, select the Hero you want to control and press X on them. The game will load for a little bit, before showing your chosen superhero on the right-hand side of the screen.
Alternatively, when you’re at the War Table, you’ll sometimes also have the option to press the Options button on PS4 or Menu button on Xbox One to immediately ‘Change Hero’ from here, as shown in the screenshot below.
If you want to add AI companions to join you on the mission and make it easier, have them selected with your cursor and press Square on PS4 or X on Xbox One to toggle them on or off.
Keep in mind you can only have three companion characters follow you into a mission.
