Dodging and Evading Enemy Attacks

To dodge attacks in Battletoads, simply press RT on your Xbox controller and move the left analog stick in whichever direction you want to move.

When you do this, your character will quickly evade in the direction you were holding while holding RT. Keep in mind, you can quickly evade in one direction, before evading in another by simply using the dodge input immediately after again.

The dodge is useful for avoiding getting hit by enemy punches and projectiles, and failure to do so will cost you dearly. Keep in mind that the best form of attack in Battletoads is sometimes defense, and this is one of the best maneuvers you have at your disposal.
