GTA V: How to Do a Wheelie

The land of Los Santos is large and sprawling and filled with things to do. Its roads are a true joy to cruise down, too, but if you’re looking to be a little more eccentric in how you ride your motorbike from A to B, you’re in the right place. In this guide, we’ll run you through how to perform a wheelie in GTA V on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

How to Wheelie on PC, PS4 and Xbox One

To wheelie on PS4 and Xbox One, you’ll first need to begin accelerating on a motorbike. These are literally littered throughout the streets of Los Santos so shouldn’t be too difficult to find one.

Accelerate by pressing R2 on PS4 or RT on Xbox One. When you’re up to speed, begin pulling the left analog stick towards you, as if you wanted your character to go backwards.

You should now see the front of your bike rising into the air, and you’ll now be wheelie-ing in GTA V.

Wheelie for GTA V on PC

If you’re playing on PC with a keyboard and mouse, the controls to wheelie in GTA V are a little bit different.

First, find a bike, hop on it and begin pressing ‘W’ on your keyboard to accelerate. When you’re up to speed, you want to press the left mouse button and move your mouse towards you while you’re doing this.

As long as you do it correctly, you should begin to wheelie the bike.

Keep in mind that when you’re performing a wheelie, you won’t be able to steer your bike left and right as well as you normally can with both wheels on the ground.
