Part of Rockstar’s enormous GTA V is its online component, GTA Online. Players are free to take on missions and elaborate heists together, fool around in random game modes, and explore the vast expanses of Los Santos with their character however they see fit. This character has its own stats which you’ll need to increase by doing certain activities in-game. Here’s how to increase strength in GTA Online.
First things first, it’s worth pointing out just exactly why Strength is important. By improving this stat, you’ll get the following gameplay benefits:
- Increased hit damage
- Improved durability
- Improved climbing speed
- Improved Sports proficiency
How to Increase Strength in GTA Online
The good news is that increasing strength is a fairly straightforward affair. To do so, simply go about fighting anyone you see with your fists. This can be another human player, or just a random NPC citizen walking down the street. The more you fight people with your fists, the faster you’ll increase your strength in GTA V.
For every 20 punches that you land, you’ll increase your Strength stat in GTA Online.
It’s not all about violence and aggression, though. Playing sports, such as golf and tennis, will also increase your strength. Make particular note that by playing the optional tennis match against Michael in GTA Online, you can significantly increase your strength this way, even more so than a regular tennis game would.
The Best Way to Max Strength Stat Fast
The fastest way to increase your Strength stat in GTA Online is to get a friend to join your game and hop in any car. Have them drive the car and meet you anywhere on the map. Begin punching the car repeatedly.
After 20 punches, you’ll immediately improve your Strength. As there’s nobody fighting back, you can quickly and easily max out this stat in a single session.
