How to Increase Hero Rank in One Punch Man
In One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, the only way to increase your Hero Rank is to complete missions provided to you by the Hero Association Headquarters.
These are missions which can only be started from the HQ building. They also typically only become available after you’ve completed side quests found throughout the hub town, or via one of the Hero Association branch locations.
However, there is some flexibility in which missions you can select from the Hero Association HQ. While some are tied to the story and need to be completed at some point, others are optional and vary in difficulty. More difficult ones will net you you more points toward your next Hero Rank, and you can pick and choose which ones of these you want to complete.
Can You Increase Your Hero Rank Fast?
As for whether you can increase your Hero Rank quickly in One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, the answer leans toward no.
The way missions which can increase your Hero Rank are made available to you is limited in a way that keeps you from progressing too quickly. As such, there isn’t a way to start a fresh playthrough and become an S class hero right off the bat.
It’s a little frustrating, but also understandable given that struggling to rise through the ranks of the Hero Association is a key part of the One Punch Man series.
