The release brings a handful of questions with it, ranging from ones about the creation aspects to even ones about cutscenes and dialogue. Here is everything you need to know about how to skip cutscenes and dialogue in Dreams.

Regardless of the game you create or play in Dreams, there is a good chance that it’s going to feature a story, ripe with plenty of cutscenes and dialogue.

While some may enjoy this aspect of Dreams, it is not for everyone. If you aren’t a huge fan of those elements, you won’t have to worry, as there is a built-in feature for skipping them.

How to Skip Cutscenes & Dialogue in Dreams

Whether you want to get through the story quickly or enjoy action over plot, skipping cutscenes and dialogue in Dreams requires the same prompt.

All you have to do to skip either is hold down the X button on your PS4 controller. When you do, a prompt will come up that says, “skip cutscene.”

Agree to skip it and you’re all set.

While Dreams may not have a ton of these story elements laced throughout, you’ll still have all the tools you need at your disposal to skip over the ones that are present if you want.
