Borderlands 3 Queen’s Call: How to Get, Stats & More

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Borderlands 3 is packed full of weapons, the most powerful of which are legendaries. Queen’s Call is one such weapon, which is found during the final stages of the campaign. Here we’re going to explain how to get it and what the stats are, but be warned that there may be some story spoilers too.

Queens Call Stats

The Queen’s Call is a legendary pistol with a six-round magazine. It is a Jakob’s radiation weapon which has some very decent stat bonuses. These are as follows:

  • +29% Weapon Damage
  • +10% Critical Hit Damage Bonus
  • Irradiated enemies damage other enemies around them
  • Consumes three ammo per shot

The special ability returns three ammo, and ricochet three at another enemy when you score a critical hit.

How to Get the Queen’s Call in Borderlands 3

To get the weapon, open your fast-travel menu and head to Destroyer’s Rift on Pandora. From here, it’s simply a case of dropping into the large area in the south of the map and fighting Tyreen the Destroyer.

Once you’ve taken her out, she’ll drop the legendary Queen’s Call.

Beating Tyreen the Destroyer

Obviously, Tyreen the Destroyer is no joke; she’s the final boss in the game, so make sure you’ve got decent gear and you’re a suitable level.

Tyreen’s weak spot is her head, so keep aiming for that. She’ll throw purple energy balls at you which are almost impossible to avoid, so having a shield with a high capacity is advised. Other than that, her main attack is to send purple lines of energy shooting across the floor. Jumping sideways, you should be able to avoid these pretty easily.

When you’ve dealt enough damage to Tyreen she’ll drop to her knees, which is your cue to climb her back and shoot her purple core. She’ll then enter her final, most difficult stage, complete with AOE attacks and spawning other enemies.

As long as you’re prepared you shouldn’t have too many issues beating her. The attack patterns are quite telegraphed. Our advice is to keep moving in a circular motion around her as you attack.

That should be everything you need to know about how to get Queen’s Call in Borderlands 3 and its stats. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to search our wiki-page.
