It’s back! EA Sports has finally re-released what is arguably the best value SBC of all time (alongside FIFA 17’s POTM Son), Flashback Ibrahimovic. If you missed out the first time, here’s everything you need to know about how to complete the Flashback Ibrahimovic SBC (FUTTIES re-release) in FIFA 19.
It was about 250k, which turned out to be incredible value as everyone tried to squeeze him into a team once the FIFA 19 meta changed from timed finesse shots to back post headers.
Since it was such good value the first time, it shouldn’t be a surprise that the requirements for the Flashback Ibrahimovic SBC re-release haven’t been reduced as heavily as they have been for others recently.
It’s looking to be coming in at around 80k or so, and will probably rise with the recent TOTS Upgrade SBC release, so isn’t amazing value anymore, especially with you not getting packs back too this time around. Here are the requirements.
Tips for Completing the Flashback Ibrahimovic SBC (FUTTIES Re-Release) in FIFA 19
- Sweden Players: Min. 1
- MLS Players: Min. 1
- Team of the Week or Team of the Season Players: Min. 2
- Players from the same league: Max. 4
- Team Overall Rating: Min. 84
- Team Chemistry: Min. 80
To balance the fact that it has been made cheaper, EA Sports has made this Ibrahimovic SBC very difficult. What I think would be the smartest option would be to go for two high rated TOTS players and just have them chilling on their own on four chemistry and not worry about them.
Then you’ll need to get every chemistry point you can from the rest of the squad. Since you’re using high rated FIFA 19 TOTS players, you can use low rated players elsewhere.
What would be smart would be to get four Spanish players from La Liga, around 80-83 rated, and use them in goal, the two CB positions, and one of the full backs, giving them all full chemistry. Then, you’ll have five positions left in the Flashback Ibrahimovic SBC.
What you should do is use Ibra himself, to cover both the Sweden and MLS requirement. You’ll also need to get him chemistry if you use high rated TOTS that sit on no chemistry.
Since you’re good to balance out the squad rating, you can just use three other MLS players, even if they’re not very high rated. The likes of Josep Martinez and Valeri will be good options, but you should be able to get away with using even lower rated players.
If you check the screenshot below, you’ll see the kind of squad layout you’re looking for from the Ibrahimovic SBC. Now, don’t use the players I have there, since they’ll be more coins than you want to spend, but they are the types of cards you’re looking to use in each position.
Do note though, that Ibrahimovic and other MLS players will become significantly more expensive than usual in FIFA 19 with the Ibrahimovic SBC release, but it’ll be the cheapest option.
Then, you if you’ve got the CDM left as I do in the squad above, try and use a Spanish player from a league that’s different from La Liga. They’ll then link to the two CBs, getting seven chemistry. There are loads of options in FIFA 19 to choose from as well.
If you are good for chemistry though, and can reduce the number of MLS players you use, then that’s great.
