The Platinum Starling exotic ship is a cool looking, Black Armory style ship that was released back when the aforementioned Destiny 2 content update was added during the first phase of the Annual Pass. While it’s not particularly difficult to get, it will require a bit of grinding, and it can be tricky to actually claim. Here’s how to get the Platinum Darling exotic ship in Destiny 2.

How to Get the Platinum Starling Exotic Ship in Destiny 2

Like we mentioned above, the Platinum Starling exotic ship is a Black Armory themed cosmetic vessel that you can equip. It carries the typical red and black aesthetic of the Blacksmith-themed gear from that annual pass content update and in general, is just a nice looking exotic ship.

To get this blacksmith themed ship, you need to first complete the Master Smith triumph. This involves completing 100 legendary weapon frames that are offered from Ada.

Completing the Master Smith Triumph

You must prep the legendary weapons according to the instructions that the pursuit gives you, and then complete an ignition all the way to the end. It does not matter what forge you do this at despite what Destiny 2 tells you.

At this point in Destiny 2’s lifespan, it shouldn’t be too difficult to get this done provided the people you’re matched with are remotely competent.

Considering most of the people playing the forge content at this point are dedicated players looking to re-roll on some of the power and popular weapons from the Forge, or try their hand at getting one of the exclusive exotics from it, most of your matchmade teams should be OK… hopefully.

Anyway, once you complete the Master Smith triumph and your 100 legendary weapon frames, to get your Platinum Starling exotic ship, go to your Triumphs book section from the start menu and go to the Black Armory badge section on the bottom end of your screen.

Look for the Master Smith triumph and then claim it, and you’ll receive the Platinum Starling exotic ship.
