How to Get Items in Dota Underlords

Even though this game features the Dota name and heroes, Dota Underlords plays entirely different from the MOBA you know and love.

You don’t get items from a shop during a match like its MOBA counterpart, in fact, you have to get items at particular intervals during a game.

The first three rounds of every Dota Undelords match will pit you against AI mobs known as creeps. If you can kill these mobs, you will be allowed to choose one item from a list of three at the end of the round.

After the first three rounds, you will be pitted against other players in the match. You will not be able to get another item until round ten. Every ten rounds feature a “neutral round” where all players will fight powerful enemies, and if you can defeat them, you will be rewarded with an item choice.

It’s important to note your choice of items is entirely random and you can not reroll them. Most items can be used on any hero with a few exceptions for specific classes in Dota Underlords. Items are a crucial part of this game and equipping items on your heroes can make a huge difference in fights that you might otherwise lose.

How to Use Items in Dota Underlords
