How to Repair in Cooking Simulator

A mechanic that you’ll learn to use early on in the game, repairing objects allows you to fix broken equipment and keep up your usual work flow instead of throwing in the towel.

Of course, being a first person simulation game, doing so can require a fair amount more input than you’d expect, so we’re here to walk you through the whole process from start to finish.

What You Need to Interact With to Repair

First, make sure you have an object that needs to be repaired. You’ll know this is the case when it’s smoking, missing components or explodes into several tiny pieces.

Once this happens, head over to the phone on your desk. It’ll be on the right side of the desk next to the computer and in front of the window.

Move the target reticle over the phone until a hand icon appears. Once it does, press the left mouse button to pick the phone up.

With the phone in hand, head over to the broken object. The target reticle should turn into a wrench once it’s over the broken object, and if you press the left mouse button while the wrench icon is active, a menu of repair services should pop up.

Which Service to Use

As for which of these repair services you should use, it depends on how much money you have available.

While the pricier repair services will ensure your equipment will last longer before breaking again, they can also leave you strapped for cash and unable to fill more lucrative and financially rewarding orders.

However, pricer repair services can also be seen as an investment. Well maintained equipment won’t break down as soon, and can allow you to craft more orders and make more money.

Stay aware of your financial situation, and make the call based on what you believe will be the best choice for your current situation.
