You can check out the numbers below, with data up to March 31, 2019, so it’s less than a month old.

We also get the outlook for the current fiscal year, which goes all the way to March 31, 2019. Nintendo predicts to sell 18 million Switch units in the period, which would bring the total to 52.74 units if the goal was achieved.

This also means that during the past fiscal year the manufacturer from Kyoto sold 16.95 million units for the console, which is just 50,000 units short of its latest revised forecast from January, and over three million units south of the original outlook for the full fiscal year.

The prediction for Switch software sales is 125 million units, which is certainly quite beefy, and would bring the total up to a monstrous 312.52 million units by March 31, 2020.

If you want to compare, you can check out the previous update that was released at the end of January up to December 31, 2018. Yesterday we also learned via Famitsu’s estimates that the Switch has sold over 8,000,000 units in Japan, and it’s coming close to the PS4 in terms of local sales. On top of that, the console was at the top of NPD’s estimates related to the United States for both the month of March and the first quarter of 2019.
