How to Charge Resurrection Meter in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the latest game from developer FromSoftware. They are known for their extremely challenging gameplay that has players dying over and over again, but what if death wasn’t the end? In Sekiro, dying is not the end of the road, in fact, resurrecting can be built into your strategy when facing off against tough enemies. So, here’s how to charge the resurrection meter in Sekiro?
Charging the Meter
Your resurrection meter, which is located above your health bar in the bottom left corner, will fill up as you kill enemies or get critical hits and deathblows on them. Once it’s fully charged up, you can resurrect once upon death.
In order the resurrect, you will need to hit either the R1/RB button. Sometimes it’s good to wait a few seconds before resurrecting to allow the enemy to de-aggro and begin to walk away, which will give you the drop on them.
Resurrection Causes in Sekiro
There is a cost to resurrection though, because everything in this world comes at a cost. Each time you resurrect it will cause the Dragon Rot disease to spread throughout the world, effecting it in mysterious ways.
Resurrecting in Sekiro will also cause your Unseen Aid percentage to decrease, which can be extremely detrimental the lower it gets. Unseen Aid gives a percentage chance of not losing half of your experience and money upon death. It’s important, therefore, to keep this in mind when charging your resurrection meter.
When you’re going up against a challenging boss or enemy, Unseen Aid is the only thing keeping you from being completely wiped out of resources. So always be sure to keep an eye on that percentage meter when figuring out if the resurrection is worth it.
