Parasite Eve, Classic Square Enix Games

One of the few examples of Square Enix straying slightly from their usual JRPG ways, Parasite Eve is an oft forgotten horror franchise that could still prove plenty entertaining to Switch owners.

As the Parasite Energy-imbued Aya Brea, players wandered the ruins of a monster ravaged city in search of a way to stop the cause of it all.

Along the way, they’d have to do battle with or flee from horribly mutated monstrosities, all the while dealing with item management and other survival horror gameplay mechanics.

It was a refreshingly experimental offering from Square Enix that continues to see a cult following to this day.

As such, there would be more than a few fans who would eagerly purchase a rereleased version of the game on the Switch, especially with rumors of the series’ return currently circulating.
