Is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Coming to PC? What You Need to Know
Finally, Marvel Alliance fans are getting the next entry after a 10-year wait, with the third entry in the series announced to release in 2019. Here’s whether or not Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is coming to PC.
For those who may have even missed the announcement, the game was revealed at The Game Awards 2018. Rather than coming to Microsoft and Sony’s consoles as the past titles had, however, the game was announced as a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
Sadly, this also remains the case when it comes to PC, too. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is not coming to PC currently, though things can always change.
For those wondering why, it turns out that Nintendo is publishing the game themselves.
This isn’t the first time that the big N has coughed up the cash to bring a sequel to a popular series, with Bayonetta 2’s Wii U release also being produced by Nintendo, despite coming from third-party developer PlatinumGames.
The two previous Marvel Ultimate Alliance titles had been published by Activision, responsible for current hits like the Call of Duty and Destiny series to name just a couple.
Just because the game is currently exclusive to Nintendo Switch, however, doesn’t mean that it can’t and won’t ever come to PC. Dead Rising 4 and Mass Effect were both originally published by Microsoft, and were later brought to Sony’s systems a little later down the road.
For now, though, it’s simply a case of waiting and seeing how things pan out. We’ll be sure to update this post as and when any official announcement is made regarding the game coming to PC, or Xbox One or PS4 for that matter, too.
