FUTmas is over and the new year is about to begin. That doesn’t mean the end of Team of the Weeks, though. Here are our FIFA 19 Team of the Week 16 (TOTW 16) predictions.

FIFA 19 Team of the Week 16 Player Predictions

• Neil Etheridge – GK – Cardiff City – 75 OVR – You might find a bigger name in this spot, but with two clean sheets this week for struggling Cardiff, including a penalty save vs. Leicester, Etheridge deserves a spot somewhere.
• Nicolas Nkoulou – CB – Torino – 83 OVR – In Torino’s 3-0 win over Empoli, Nkoulou scored once while keeping a clean sheet. 
• Ricardo Pereira – RB – Leicester City – 84 OVR – Pereira was one of the best Premier League RBs in the game when it first released. After scoring a spectacular goal against Man City, he could be in line for an upgrade.
• Lucas Digne – LB – Everton – 81 OVR – Everton have been up and down this season, but with their LB scoring twice in a 5-1 win this week, their fans were happy for a while.
• Scott Sinclair – LM – Celtic – 81 OVR – They may have lost to Rangers at the weekend, but Sinclair scored three times in their 4-3 win earlier in the week.
• Felipe Anderson – LM – West Ham – 87 OVR – FIFA fans are loving Felipe Anderson this year. With another two goals against Southampton, he could be in line for his third in-form and another upgrade to his Ones to Watch card.
• Cengiz Under – RW – Roma – 81 OVR – The talented youngster scored once and assisted another in Roma’s second game this week.
• Josip Ilicic – RW – Atalanta – 86 OVR – In Atalanta’s 6-2 win this week, Ilicic came off the bench to score a hat-trick in just half and hour.
• Roberto Firmino – CAM – Liverpool – 87 OVR – In their 5-1 thrashing of Arsenal, Roberto Firmino, who has been playing in a deeper role recently, scored his first ever Liverpool hat-trick.
• Cristiano Ronaldo – LW – Juventus – 95 OVR – If someone was to tell you in September that it would take four months for Cristiano Ronaldo to get his first in-form, you wouldn’t believe them. However, with both goals in Juve’s 2-1 win this week, it could be time.
• Marcus Rashford – ST – Manchester United – 84 OVR – With Paul Pogba ruled out by having a Team of the Week 15 card, even with two goals and an assist, this spot goes to Rashford. Playing at ST under his new manager, he’s clearly flourishing.

The full team will be revealed via EA Sports’ Twitter account at 10 am ET on Wednesday, and the players will be released into packs at 1 pm the same day.
