All Video Game Releases for December 2018
(Weeks 1 & 2: Dec. 1-14)
Considering December has been one of the quietest months of the year in recent times, following the madness of the three months prior, it’s surprising to see the first half of December 2018 be so busy in terms of sheer releases.
There aren’t that many games that stand out as must play AAA titles, but there are a lot of smaller releases due to arrive on Switch and PS4.
The obvious stand out of them all, however, is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The giant fighting series is making its debut on Switch and it is boasting the biggest roster ever seen, with every character who’s ever featured making their return.
Elsewhere, Rico Rodriquez returns for Just Cause 4. You’ll be able to cause havoc in the new South American location, blowing up everything you see and contending with the new extreme weather mechanics.
Rounding out the first two weeks of December 2018 are PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds making its way to PlayStation 4, a year after its Xbox One debut, Borderlands 2 is due to release for PSVR, and beautiful platformer Gris is coming to the Nintendo Switch. There’s still a lot to look forward to, even if you’re still working through your backlog from the last couple of months.
