Elder Scrolls Online Developer ZeniMax Studios Making New IP For Consoles

An eagle-eyed ResetEra member has spotted a job listing over on developer ZeniMax Online Studios website, and it’s not for its popular Elder Scrolls Online title. Instead, the listing describes a programming role working on “an exciting new IP!”

ZeniMax Studios Online specializes in MMO games, so we’re guessing this latest project, which launches across console and PC platforms, falls under that category, too. It’s worth noting, though, that doesn’t necessarily mean we’re looking at another ESO-like traditional MMO experience. It could also be Division or Destiny-like, which often get lumped into the same bracket, and are obviously hugely popular these days.

Key takeaways from the job listing’s requirements include the desire for applicants to have experience with “in-house engines or commercial ones such as Unreal and Crytek/Lumberyard,” as well as “strong technical knowledge of Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC” and “MMO experience.”

Check out the full ZeniMax Online Studios listing below:

We’ve yet to hear any sort of official announcement from Zenimax Studios Online about the new IP.
