How to Complete The Getaway High Stakes Challenges in Fortnite Battle Royale

Another Limited Time Mode has arrived in Fortnite Battle Royale Season 5 alongside the most recent update. This one is called The Getaway High Stakes and it is all about completing a heist of sorts alongside three squad mates. As the mode is described on Epic’s Fortnite website, “four safes have been loaded into supply drops scattered around the island, each carrying a large jewel. You and your crew must locate a safe, pick up the prize inside and getaway with the goods while battling enemies. The first four teams to make their way to a van with a jewel and getaway win! Are you up for the job?” As you’d expect, alongside the new LTM comes new The Getaway High Stakes challenges and cosmetics for you to work towards, which will grant you XP towards leveling up and unlocking new tiers of your Season 5 Fortnite Battle Pass. Here’s everything you need to know about how to complete The Getaway High Stakes challenges.

  • Play 10 matches of The Getaway – Get 5,000 XP
  • Do 500 damage to Jewel carrying opponents – Unlock the Suited Up Spray
  • Pick up a Jewel in 5 different matches of The Getaway LTM – Unlock the Cash Flow Contrail
  • Complete all 3 Challenges – Unlock the Crowbar Pickaxe

Thankfully, as you can see, the new The Getaway High Stakes challenges are pretty simple. If you simple play 10 matches, pick up the jewel in five of them, and do just 500 damage to an opponent who is carrying the jewel at some point over the ten matches, you’ll complete all four of the Getaway High Stakes challenges. You’ll then be able to use the new themed Spray, Contrail, and Pickaxe, which you can see on the Fortnite website.
