Stink Bombs Are Coming to Fortnite

Fortnite is getting another odd addition to its arsenal of items, and this time it comes in the form of, weirdly a stink bomb. No, there won’t be any way for you to smell the stink bomb or the nasty cloud of smell it creates in game, but he who smells it certainly won’t be accused of dealing it, with this new weapon.

The new addition to the game was spotted as by a Redditor who’s part of the Fortnite community online, with a new image that showed off a “Stink Bomb” coming soon to the game. Its description states that it “explodes into a cloud on impact and slowly damages anyone inside.” That sounds a lot deadlier than any stink bombs we might be familiar with in real life, but luckily we won’t have to smell anything like it IRL.

Of course, we don’t know a proposed date or anything like that for the upcoming addition to Fortnite, but it could be taking the place of the smoke bombs that were previously removed from the game. When we see items added to the Fortnite feed like this, we end up seeing them in the game proper a few days later. It should be available soon, but we’ll keep you abreast of the situation, letting you know as soon as something smells off.
