Interested in trying out Octopath Traveler, the Switch’s newest upcoming RPG title? Get ready for a hefty three-hour demo, which is coming to the system today. You’ll get to play through a decent-sized chunk of game with that rate, and it’ll allow you to play any of the eight characters coming to the game.

The demo’s time limit will allow for plenty of discovery, and any progress you make can be transferred over to the full game when and if you choose to buy it. The demo’s available right now and will take up about 1.6GB of space, which means there’s quite a bit of game here to get through. According to the latest Nintendo Treehouse announcement, it could last anywhere between 50 and 60 hours, which is a lengthy adventure for on the go play. That’s just the main quest, because you could easily get 90 or 100 hours with all the side quests and optional things to do.

You can go ahead and preload the demo to get ready for the game’s release on July 13 now, and if you like what you see, come back and let us know what you think of the demo. The full game will take around 2.9GB of space, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
