Is There Online Co-Op Multiplayer in Wizard of Legend?

Recommended Videos

The only thing better than duking it out with hordes of foes in Wizard of Legend is the sheer thrill of bringing a pal along with you for the ride. The local co-op multiplayer feature is an absolute pleasure to play, helping to alleviate some of the pressure of the dungeon crawler, and offering some uproarious laughs along the way, too.

Though the game could feasibly stand to benefit from online co-op multiplayer, this is not presently available. The devs themselves have admitted a fondness for the idea, but have not been able to implement it, offering the official response on Steam that ‘online coop is something that we really wanted to add to the game because it would be awesome, but we currently do not have plans to add it for the initial release as it would take a significant amount of time and resources.’

This may present an optimistic view that, perhaps down the track, this may be added to the game, but it is important to note that this response was given back in January 2017, and no further update on the matter has been provided since then. This doesn’t make it an impossibility, but at least for the time being, it remains a dormant issue.
