Is Octopath Traveler Coming to PC?

Recommended Videos

Octopath Traveler, the upcoming JRPG from Square Enix and Acquire, is a Nintendo Switch exclusive that has fans hyped. Early impressions from those that have played it have been largely positive, and players are looking forward to getting their hands on the eight different stories and characters that will be prominent in the game’s campaign.

If you’re here, you’re probably wondering if Octopath Traveler is going to come to PCs. As far as we know though, Octopath Traveler is indeed a Switch exclusive and won’t be coming to PC. While Square Enix does have an established history of supporting PCs as a platform for their JRPGs, the game from start to finish has been a Nintendo Switch exclusive.

To make matters more murky for a potential PC port, Nintendo is the publisher of Octopath Traveler. So, likely, they would need to be involved in any deal that brings the game anywhere else including PCs. And while Square Enix has been good about porting to PC, Nintendo – obviously – has not been.

Sorry if that wasn’t the news you wanted to hear, but hey, at least you know now and can move knowing what the deal is.
