As leader of the last city on Earth, things can get pretty intense pretty quickly in Frostpunk. While building a city and directing the citizens and the development of the infrastructure certainly makes for one of the most compelling sim experiences you can get so far this year, sometimes the simplest things can stop you dead in your tracks. Being able to rotate buildings in Frostpunk is exactly one of those irritating things to try and figure out if you don’t already know it. Well, fear not, we’re here to help you out.

To rotate buildings in Frostpunk, all you need to do is click the middle button (scroll wheel) on your mouse. You should hear it click in once you’ve pushed it down enough, and surely enough your building should then rotate 90-degrees in the game. Continue to press the middle mouse button and you can continue to rotate buildings until you’re happy with their positioning. Once they’re all set, feel free to place it and admire your latest addition to your sprawling city.

That’s all you need to know to rotate buildings in Frostpunk. For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
