Sea of Thieves: How to Become Pirate Legend

Becoming a Pirate Legend in Sea of Thieves

Recommended Videos

The status of Pirate Legend is probably the most coveted in Sea of Thieves. It unlocks a brand new hub area, along with better voyages with increased rewards. However, the road to becoming a Legend is not easy, and requires a lot of work on your part.

To become a Pirate Legend, you simply need to max out your ranks with the three factions: Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, and Merchant Alliance. You do this by accepting voyages from the factions, then turning in your loot until you hit level 50 for each one. After that, you can talk to the Mysterious Stranger in the tavern to get your Pirate Legend title. You’ll also receive a new outfit and shanty. If you play the shanty in front of the Mysterious Stranger, he’ll grant you access to the new hub, where you’ll meet a new quest-giving NPC with new voyages. Presumably, these legendary voyages will feature elements from all three faction quest types, which means you’ll need to find chests, kill skeletons, and hunt for animals in one go.
