More Nindies On the Way; Tiny Build Will Be Announcing Six Nintendo Switch Games Tomorrow

Indie developer and publisher, Tiny Build, will be announcing six games for the Nintendo Switch tomorrow during their own Nintendo Direct style event. The event, known as #HelloSwitch will take place tomorrow at 10 A.M PST and 1 P.M EST and will be watchable from either Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook.

Considering the name of the event, and Tiny Build’s part in publishing the game, I’d put good money on Hello Neighbor making an appearance. The other five could be anything. In recent years, Tiny Build has published, Clustertruck, Punch Club 1 & 2, Party Hard, SpeedRunners, Party Hard Tycoon and plenty others. Your guess is as good as ours. You can check out their page on Wikipedia if you want to take a peek at their work. If we’re lucky, there will be some surprises in store.

Bigger picture though, it continues the trend of indies flocking to the Switch. Nindies, are they have been affectionately referred to, have admirably filled the gap between major first and third-party releases for Nintendo’s latest and greatest. Tiny Build is clearly full steam ahead, and even more indie developers and publishers will be likely to follow. Celeste, a multiplatform indie game from the creator of Towerfall, released to rave reviews and sold best on the Switch despite the far higher install base on other platforms like the PlayStation 4, according to creator Matt Thorson. Obviously music to the ears of any potential Nindie hopefuls.
