Getting a Snapchat Streak Back

Recommended Videos

So the unthinkable has happened, the day has come that you never thought you’d ever face, a day that no one would wish upon anyone, even on their worst enemy. You and a friend have been killing it on Snapchat, your streak is the envy of everyone you meet but for one reason or another, no blame here, you’ve lost your Snapchat streak. All is not lost, however, as there is a way to get back your streak. Here’s how to get a Snapchat streak back.

Regardless of how or why you lost it in the first place, it is important to get your story straight. You will want to become fully acclimated with two words, as these will get you out of your predicament. These words are connectivity and issues. Firstly, head over to the Snapchat website and head for their Support section. Next up, you’ll need to click ‘Contact Us.’

You’ll be presented with a list of problems to select, click the one related to losing your Snapchat streak. Click the ‘Still Need Help?’ option and you’ll be given the option to file a claim. You’ll need to provide the following details: username, email, mobile number, device, friend’s username (you are only allowed one per claim), when did you start having this issue?, how long was the Snapstreak?, did you see the timer?, extra information.

It’s in this final extra information box that you will want to put that you were experiencing connectivity issues when you lost the streak. Explain that you were fully connected to WiFi but the app malfunctioned.

All that’s left to do now is submit your claim and wait to see if the Snapchat gods show mercy on you. They will get back to you via the email you provided earlier, so here’s hoping you’re successful.
