Can You Fix Lag Stutter in Battlefield 1 Apocalypse DLC?
Battlefield 1’s Apocalypse DLC released just a few days ago adding a number of new maps, melee weapons, and some explosive firepower. Unfortunately, the DLC hasn’t had the smoothest of launches, with players complaining about there being a lag stutter when firing weapons or after every kill. As you can imagine, players are pretty desperate to work out how to fix the lag stutter.
Apparently, the lag stutter becomes an issue if players are progressing through the new assignments. If you haven’t already started, don’t bother and you should have smooth sailing. Of course, DICE is working on fixing this in the meantime, so hopefully it shouldn’t be long before it’s fixed.
Outside of that, your options to fix the lag stutter in Battlefield 1 Apocalypse are pretty slim. Some players have suggested creating new accounts entirely, but that means you’ll be losing your progress and your Premium, too. Keep in mind you currently need Premium to play the Apocalypse DLC, so it really isn’t ideal.
As such, you’re probably best off taking a break from Battlefield 1 and playing something else until DICE manage to get a fix pushed out to all platforms. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as and when we hear more.
