Where to Find Hippos in Assassin’s Creed Origins
Assassin’s Creed is returning after a year’s break with Origins, telling the story of Bayek and the founding of the Assassins Brotherhood. Throughout Egypt, you will be able to find wild animals, some of which are more threatening than others. Hippos are one of those more threatening creatures and they will attack you viciously if you go too close to them.
If you are in the mood for a fight and are looking for hippos, they are quite easy to find in Assassin’s Creed Origins. As you would expect, they can normally be found near muddy banks close to shallow bodies of water. Most of Egypt’s rivers will have them lurking on the muddy area alongside it and while larger bodies of water will be home to them, they will be more sparse. If you do find a muddy coast by one of those bodies of water, you may find one, along with some terrifying and powerful alligators. Hippos can also be tamed in the same way as lions, by shooting a lower level one with a sleep dart and pressing Y/ triangle when you are close to it.
