Stifled Is Coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR This Halloween

Don’t breathe a word.

Stifled is a fairly unique-looking “stealth thriller” slated for release on PlayStation 4 with PlayStation VR support. Developer Gattai Games, via the PlayStation Blog, has just announced that it will be available on one of the most appropriate days it could be sold on: Halloween, Oct. 31.

The game utilizes both VR and mic-enabled thrills to creep you all the way out. You play through a pitch-black world which is lit up by each sound that you make. Sound is used to help you “see” throughout the world in terms of what’s waiting for you and what enemies are ready to tear you limb from limb.

Stifled is a VR and mic-enabled sound-based stealth thriller. The pitch black world is illuminated by the sounds you make, which allows you to see the path ahead and items you can pick up. But sound also highlights your location to the enemies who lurk in the darkness.

If you’re looking for something a little more unorthodox to send Halloween chills down your spine, Stifled looks like a pretty interesting choice.
