Where Cayde-6 is in Destiny 2
In Destiny 2, Bungie revamped patrol missions, public events, and other PvE events outside of strikes and raids. Now, players can complete challenges on different planets in order to receive engrams that can result in powerful loot. Hunter Vanguard, Cayde-6 serves as the point person for all of these patrol challenges, and finding him in the tower is simple. The ill-fortuned and often hilarious Hunter also offers players scouting reports and treasure maps that can help assist guardians in their quest for better gear.
Finding Cayde-6 in the Tower is simple. After completing the Destiny 2 main story line, Cayde-6 takes up residence in the Tower’s hangar. When you spawn into the Tower, look to your left. There you will see a staircase that leads down towards the hangar. Follow them down into the first main corridor, and at the back, you will find another set of stairs. Once you have reached the bottom, you will find Cayde-6 leaned against some scaffolding. From there you can purchase maps to help the Hunter Vanguard find his misplaced loot stashes and receive engrams for completing challenges.
