Tekken 7: How to Play the Special Chapter

How to Play the Special Chapter in Tekken 7

Recommended Videos

One of Tekken 7’s trophies/ achievements requires you to finish the “Special Chapter” of the main story. If you’re wanting to get that all-important Platinum trophy or 1000G, you’ll want to know exactly what you need to do to play the Special Chapter.

Fortunately, there’s not actually a lot to it. In order to gain access to the Special Chapter in Tekken 7, all you need to do is complete the game’s main story. Once you’ve done this and watched the credits roll, jump back into the story mode from the main menu and select the Special Chapter. It’ll have you facing off against Akuma as Devil Kazuya, but it’s an incredibly tough fight so prepare yourself.

You’ll need to watch out for him abusing his Ashura Senku move, as he’ll constantly use this to keep switching sides and catching you off guard. Make use of Devil Kazuya’s handy beam attack to chip away at his health from a distance, and eventually, he’ll charge at you with his Raging Demon attack. You have to avoid this or he’ll wipe you out, regardless of how much health you have left. Once that’s done, the trophy will pop and you’ll be one step closer to that Platinum trophy.
