HOW MANY WORLDS THERE ARE IN NEX MACHINA AND HOW LONG ARCADE MODE IS

Recommended Videos

Nex Machina’s Arcade Mode is based on setting high scores by defeating all the robots and saving as many humans as you can. It’s supposed to be played in one sitting, without returning to the main menu.

Therefore, before you start, it is helpful to know how many worlds there are in the mode and how long it will take to finish all of them. However, how long it takes depends on which difficulty you choose and how competent you are at twin-stick shooters.

On Rookie difficulty, the most simple, it should take less than ten minutes to finish each world on your first try. There are five worlds to get through in Arcade Mode on Rookie difficulty, and six on the higher difficulties, so finishing all of them in one sitting on the easier difficulties should take no longer than 45 minutes. On the harder difficulties, enemies are quicker and more aggressive, even with you character’s abilities staying the same, so it will take longer to finish. The game gets significantly harder on the higher difficulties. On top of that, you only get a set number of continues in the harder difficulties so you have to careful not to die too often, even if your continue count resets at the beginning of each world.
