Heroes Unite and Fight in Marvel’s The Defenders Trailer

They gotta get it together.

Now that Iron Fist has come and gone, the new Marvel Netflix hotness is going to be The Defenders. The four solo series heroes will team up to fight the Hand, a ninja death cult who want to take over (or destroy, it’s kinda unclear) the world. And now they’ve got a brand new trailer that shows them all fighting together (and each other)!

The trailer does a good job of setting the stage for what’s to come and bringing the four heroes together in pairs. It’s only natural that Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) would end up coming together because of how linked their jobs are. And Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) would meet up because of their partnership in the comics. And of course, they continue to set the action to “Come as You Are” by Nirvana, because that’s an easy angle. Overall, it’s a good trailer, and it indicates that the Marvel Netflix Hallway Fight is going to be pretty epic when you’ve got four skilled fighters (and Iron Fist) involved.

The Defenders comes to Netflix on Aug. 18.
