Fallout 4 Nuka-World: How to Get the New Companion, Porter Gage

A helping hand on your Nuka-World adventure.

Fallout 4’s Nuka-World brings a bunch of new quests to the table, but also new weapons, armor, items, enemies, and even a companion. Available to accompany you on your Nuka-World adventure and a little more accepting of doing things the dirty way, Porter Gage offers some serious firepower and some useful knowledge when it comes to dealing with the Raiders.

It’s impossible to miss Gage along on your Nuka-World adventure, as meeting him is part of the main questline. Once you’ve successfully navigated the Gauntlet and defeated the former Overboss, Gage will let you know that you’re now the one in charge of things. After a brief run through of everything that is going on in Nuka-World, Gage will tell you to go ahead and make your introductions with the Raider gang leaders of the park. Upon returning to him, he’ll let you know that you’ll need to go and reclaim other areas of the park.

As the conversation draws to a close, Gage will offer his assistance on your Nuka-World adventure. You can choose to accept or decline his offer at this point, but don’t worry if you decline, you can always just talk to him a little later on and switch out your companion then.

That’s all there is to getting Nuka-World’s new companion for Fallout 4, so you don’t have to worry about missing out.
