Attack on Titan: How to Jump

Jump – Attack on Titan

Recommended Videos

Traversing the large battlefields of Attack on Titan is a major component of the game. While your ODM gear (the thing that lets you swing about like a maniac) can get you across large distance quickly, sometimes you need a little subtlety. There will be times when you need just a simple jump to reach your destination, and you don’t want to overshoot it.

To jump in Attack on Titan you simply press X on PS4 or A on Xbox One. This will allow you to get over small obstacles. You should note, though, that you will be unable to jump if you are in a near death state. It only takes one hit from a Titan to put you in this state, and you’ll notice that your character icon will go red and you can hear a heartbeat in the background. Eren has a skill that allows him to still jump when injured, but everyone else is doomed.

When on horseback, you will automatically bound over obstacles in your path as you sprint towards them. Just head straight, and if it isn’t too high, your horse will go right over, allowing you to keep your momentum as you rush to help a fellow soldier or take down a powerful menace.
