Dragon Quest Heroes was originally released in February in Japan and is due to be released in the West. Square Enix has announced that a sequel, Dragon Quest Heroes II is coming exclusively to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita.

A promotional website for Dragon Quest Heroes II was launched yesterday, on April 1st, and visitors could pop bubble wrap bubbles to defeat Slimes. When 10,000,000 bubbles were popped, the official website went live. The Production Staff will consist of:

- Character Design: Akira Toriyama
- Music: Koichi Sugiyama
- Developer: Omega Force (Koei Tecmo)
- Publisher: Square Enix
